He has been and is currently director of research contracts sponsored by industrial groups, organisations, internationally esteemed institutions such as Rockwool Italia S.p.A., Fondazione Teatro alla Scala, TIS Innovation Park Provincia di Bolzano, EURAC Bolzano, Fondazione Fiera Milano, Fiere Internazionali di Bologna.

He is an expert in solutions for constructions, buildings, covers, interior and exterior finishes, the integration of systems, power stations and engineering networks in buildings; diagnostics of cases of degradation and pathological behaviour of construction solutions, focussing particularly on covering parts: opaque and transparent façades, and coverings; engineering of complex architecture projects focussing on solutions of covering and plant engineering integration.
He has worked in the engineering of projects of residential architecture, for services, commerce, exhibitions and industry and in the development of innovative solutions in construction, covering, internal finishes and plant engineering to be integrated in the same.
From 1992 to 2010, he was a member of the Cuore Mostra SAIE Fiere Internazionali scientific committee in Bologna and collaborated in the preparation of the book, international convention and exhibition that are all dedicated each year to themes of urban transformation through the design and construction of innovative architecture of high technological content, aimed at sustainability.
In 1999, 2000 and 2001 he was the editor of the book, convention and exhibition Focus Innovazione Tecnologica SAIE – Fiere Internazionali in Bologna – “Pareti ventilate”, “Coperture innovative”, “Integrazione e automazione delle funzioni impiantistiche”.
He has written more than 120 scientific publications in books, journals and reports from international conventions.
